Above-ground pools are great - but without some kind of defined edging around them, the whole setup can look unfinished. Grass creeps in, mulch shifts around, and the area just never quite looks intentional. That's exactly the problem concrete curbing solves.

We're out in Hillman, Minnesota working on this one. The pool itself has a solid wood-panel look to it, so we wanted the curbing to complement that - nothing too flashy, just clean and well-defined. We went with our slate stamp finish in charcoal, which gives the border a textured, natural look without competing with the pool's existing style.

The slate stamp is one of our most popular finishes for a reason. It breaks up the flat surface of a plain concrete border and adds just enough visual detail to make the whole thing feel intentional. Charcoal is a great color choice here too - it's neutral enough to work with just about any yard, but it still has enough contrast against the grass to clearly define the space.

Concrete curbing isn't just about looks either. It keeps your landscaping where it belongs. No more mulch migrating into the grass, no more lawn edging creeping toward the pool, and no more guessing where the "pool area" ends and the yard begins. It draws a clean line and holds it.

Whether it's around a pool, garden beds, or along a driveway - curbing pulls a yard together in a way that's hard to replicate with any other product. It's low maintenance, long lasting, and once it's in, it just works.
