We had a great time working with Betzler Builders on this property in Princeton, MN. The building itself is sharp - black steel siding, clean lines, solid construction. But without defined landscape edging, the surrounding space just wasn't keeping up with the rest of the build.
That's where concrete curbing comes in. It's one of those details that doesn't always get talked about, but it makes a real difference in how a property looks and functions. No more grass creeping into planting beds. No more landscape material migrating where it shouldn't. Everything stays where it belongs.
On a property like this one, the curbing had to flow around some pretty varied terrain - along the building perimeter, out into open lawn areas, around a utility station, and through sections that curve out toward the tree line. Getting that kind of continuous, smooth run right takes attention to detail. The curbing has to sit level, hold its line, and look intentional - not like an afterthought.
Concrete curbing also makes ongoing maintenance easier. Mowing along a hard edge is faster and cleaner than trying to keep a soft border tidy. For a builder like Betzler, handing over a finished property that already has that structure in place is a real advantage - for them and for whoever ends up using the space.
We're proud of how this one came together. If your property - residential or commercial - could use that same kind of defined, low-maintenance edge, this is a solid place to start.
