Most landscape beds look fine from a distance. But without a solid, defined border, grass creeps in, mulch migrates, and the whole yard starts to look a little rough around the edges. That's exactly the kind of problem concrete curbing solves - and it does it permanently.

For this Annandale property, we installed continuous concrete curbing along the front beds, around the flag pole bed, and even around the mailbox. The detail work really ties the whole yard together. We went with a granite slate stamp and a rich walnut color - a combination that looks natural and earthy without trying too hard. It complements the stone on the porch columns and the overall feel of the home perfectly.

What makes decorative concrete curbing worth it compared to plastic or metal edging? Simple - it doesn't shift, it doesn't fade after one season, and it doesn't need to be reset every spring. Once it's poured and cured, it's there. The curb holds the bed line exactly where you want it, keeps grass and turf from encroaching, and cuts down on the maintenance you'd otherwise spend re-edging throughout the season.

We do a lot of these across central Minnesota, and the results are always the same - the homeowner can't believe how much cleaner everything looks once that border is in. It frames the landscaping the same way a good mat frames a picture. The plants, the rocks, the shrubs - they all pop more when there's a clean, solid line separating the bed from the turf.

Every run of curbing is poured continuous on-site using our dedicated curbing machine, which means no seams every few feet and no pieces shifting out of alignment over time. The stamp and color are integrated into the pour itself, so you're not dealing with paint or surface coating that chips off. It's built to hold up through Minnesota winters and still look sharp come spring.
