Here's a job we're really proud of. This St. Cloud, Minnesota home had decent landscaping around the foundation - shrubs, rock beds, some boulders - but nothing keeping it contained or defined. Without a solid edge, those beds tend to blur into the lawn over time. Grass creeps in, rock migrates out, and what started as a clean look turns into a constant maintenance headache.
That's exactly the problem concrete landscape curbing solves. We installed a stamped concrete curb that wraps the entire foundation bed, following the natural curve of the bed line all the way around the home. The stamped texture gives it a finished, intentional look that plain plastic or steel edging just can't match.
What we like about this material is how well it holds up long-term. It doesn't shift, pop out of the ground, or break down after a few Minnesota winters. Once it's in, it's in. The bed stays defined, the rock stays where it belongs, and you're not out there every season re-edging by hand.
The curbing wraps the front beds, continues around the side of the house, and carries all the way to the back - keeping everything consistent and cohesive no matter which angle you're viewing the property from. It's a subtle upgrade, but it's the kind of thing that makes the whole yard look more intentional and well cared for.
Concrete landscape edging like this is one of the highest-return upgrades you can make to your yard. Low maintenance, long-lasting, and it genuinely sharpens the look of any landscaping you already have in place.
